A modern-day polymath (a nicer way of saying easily distracted), Brian J. Eskridge continues to push creative boundaries, merging his diverse skill set and experiences to produce thought-provoking and engaging works. He’s the author of the 2013 science fiction crime drama, “Razing Shadows,” Brian is a multifaceted author, artist, entrepreneur, inventor, and seasoned professional whose diverse experiences shape his unique storytelling.

With more than 30 years in digital art and design, Brian is an award-winning graphic artist and illustrator. He has also founded several businesses, including the Combative Training Group, CTG DynamiX LLC, and 'Merican Basshole fishing gear.

A disabled veteran of the U.S. Army Special Operations, Eskridge served in elite units, including the US Army Ranger Regiment and the 19th Special Forces Group, before transitioning to a distinguished career in law enforcement. With over two decades as a police officer in Oregon, he has held roles in SWAT, tactical instruction, and major crimes investigations, earning recognition for his service.
